Executive Chef


We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a prestigious restaurant in Kaunas. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1500 per month and visa sponsorship is available for non-English speakers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary excellence and be able to lead a team to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menus that align with the restaurant's concept and vision
- Select and source high-quality ingredients for dishes
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure consistency and presentation standards
- Train, mentor, and manage kitchen staff to maintain high-quality standards
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
- Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen at all times
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service execution
- Manage food costs and budget effectively

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in high-end restaurants
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage kitchen staff
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, flavors, ingredients, and trends
- Creativity in menu development while considering dietary restrictions/allergies
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written (English proficiency preferred)
- Degree or certification from a culinary school is preferred
