Restaurant Manager - Egyptian Cuisine (Muscat, Oman)
We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Restaurant Manager to join our team in Muscat, Oman. As a Restaurant Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our Egyptian cuisine restaurant and ensure that our guests have an exceptional dining experience.
Responsibilities:
- Hire, train and supervise staff members including servers, chefs, and kitchen staff
- Create schedules and assign tasks to ensure efficient operation of the restaurant
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for excellent customer service
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain stock levels
- Oversee food preparation, presentation, quality control, and adherence to food safety standards
- Work with the marketing team to promote the restaurant through social media, special events, etc.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues in a timely manner
- Monitor financial performance of the restaurant and make adjustments as needed to meet budget goals
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role in an Egyptian cuisine restaurant is preferred
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Proficient in MS Office and POS systems
- Good understanding of budgeting procedures
- Fluent in Arabic; knowledge of English is a plus
Salary: 1500$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
