We are searching for an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a prestigious fine dining restaurant located in the beautiful city of Clairvaux, Kenya. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and create innovative menu items that reflect our restaurant's style and cuisine
- Oversee the food preparation process to ensure high quality and consistency
- Manage inventory and order supplies to maintain proper stock levels
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on cooking techniques, safety procedures, and sanitation standards
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant setting
- Proven track record of creating successful menus and managing kitchen operations
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train staff effectively
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and cuisines
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Must have valid work permit or be eligible for visa sponsorship
