Indian Chef - Kaunas, Lithuania


We are seeking an experienced and talented Indian Chef to join our team in Kaunas, Lithuania. As an Indian Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing authentic Indian dishes that will delight our customers. You must have a passion for cooking and a deep understanding of Indian cuisine, as well as excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of delicious Indian dishes according to traditional recipes
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality of all dishes served
- Create new dishes and menus based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation
- Monitor food inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Comply with all health, safety, and hygiene standards in the kitchen
- Collaborate with the restaurant manager to create special menus for events or promotions
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as an Indian Chef or similar role in a restaurant setting
- Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine, spices, cooking techniques, and traditional recipes
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen environment
- Excellent communication skills in English (Lithuanian language proficiency is a plus)
- Ability to lead and train kitchen staff effectively
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Flexible availability including weekends
