Executive Chef - Fine Dining Restaurant (Bergen, Norway)



We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our fine dining restaurant located in the beautiful city of Bergen, Norway. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations, including menu creation, food preparation, and staff management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create innovative and high-quality menus with a focus on local and seasonal ingredients
- Oversee all food preparation and ensure that dishes are prepared to the highest standards
- Train, mentor, and manage kitchen staff to maintain a high level of performance and professionalism
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain smooth kitchen operations
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests
- Continuously research new culinary trends and techniques to enhance menu offerings

Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a fine dining restaurant setting
- Proven track record of creating unique and successful menus that meet customer preferences
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire kitchen staff
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality standards
- Fluency in English (Norwegian language proficiency is preferred)
