Back-End Developer



We are searching for a skilled Back-End Developer to join our team in St-Petersburg. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining the server-side of web applications and ensuring they run smoothly. You will also work closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient server-side code
- Ensure high performance and responsiveness of web applications
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Implement security and data protection measures
- Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise in production environments
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven work experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- Proficient in one or more back-end programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js
- Familiarity with database systems (SQL/NoSQL), web servers (Apache/Nginx), and UI/UX design principles
- Excellent understanding of code versioning tools (e.g. Git)
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills

Bonus Skills:
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Knowledge of front-end development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Understanding of DevOps principles

Salary: $1400 per month

Location: St-Petersburg, Russia

This is a contract position that includes accommodation. We welcome candidates from India and Nepal who are fluent in English. Freshers are encouraged to apply as training will be provided.
