Junior Web Developer


As a Junior Web Developer in our Bergen office, you will work on creating and maintaining websites for our clients. Your main responsibility will be to write clean and efficient code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You will work closely with our senior developers to implement design layouts, troubleshoot issues, and ensure a seamless user experience.

Responsibilities:
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Collaborate with the design team to implement website layouts
- Troubleshoot and fix any issues that arise during development
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility
- Optimize website performance for maximum speed and scalability
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in web development

Requirements:
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines

Bonus Skills:
While not required, the following skills would be a plus:
- Experience with front-end frameworks like React or AngularJS
- Knowledge of SEO principles
- Experience working with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify or WooCommerce

Salary:
This is a contract position with a salary of $1300 per month.

Location:
This position is based in Bergen, Norway. While we welcome candidates from all nationalities, proficiency in English is required.
