Tutor for English Language Learners in Porto, Portugal


We are currently searching for a qualified and experienced Tutor to join our team in Porto, Portugal. As a Tutor, you will be responsible for providing one-on-one or small group instruction to English language learners of various ages and proficiency levels.

Responsibilities:
- Develop lesson plans and activities that cater to the individual needs of each student
- Assist students in improving their overall English language skills, including speaking, reading, writing, and listening
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback on areas of improvement
- Create a supportive and engaging learning environment for students
- Collaborate with other tutors and staff members to ensure the best learning experience for students
- Keep accurate records of student attendance and performance

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Linguistics or related field
- Minimum of 2 years teaching/tutoring experience with English language learners
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills (Portuguese proficiency is a plus)
- Knowledgeable about various teaching methods and techniques for second language acquisition
- Patient, adaptable, and able to work well with different personalities and learning styles
- Must be legally eligible to work in Portugal
