Contract Preservation Architect
Location: La Condamine, Monaco
Salary: $1200 per month
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team on a contract basis. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures in La Condamine, Monaco. Your role will involve working closely with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to develop preservation plans and oversee the implementation of restoration projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historic buildings and structures to determine their condition and preservation needs
- Develop comprehensive preservation plans that meet the requirements of clients and adhere to local regulations
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure the successful implementation of preservation plans
- Review proposed changes or modifications to historic structures to ensure they are in line with preservation standards
- Oversee the restoration process, including managing budgets, schedules, and contractors
- Monitor progress and provide regular updates to clients and stakeholders
- Conduct research on historical significance, materials, and techniques related to preservation projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a relevant field
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Preservation Architect
- Strong knowledge of local regulations related to historic preservation in Monaco
- Experience working on restoration projects for historic buildings
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Biometric passport preferred
