Industrial Alpinist

An industrial alpinist, also known as an industrial rope access technician, is responsible for performing various maintenance, repair, and construction tasks at heights using specialized climbing and rigging techniques. This role requires physical fitness, technical knowledge of rope access systems and equipment, and the ability to work in high-risk environments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform various tasks such as painting, cleaning, welding, and inspection at heights using rope access methods
- Set up and maintain rope access systems to ensure safety and efficiency
- Inspect equipment before use and report any defects or malfunctions
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth workflow
- Maintain proper documentation of work performed and any safety incidents
- Complete projects within given timeframes while maintaining quality standards

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an industrial alpinist or similar role
- Valid biometric passport (international travel may be required)
- Physically fit with the ability to work at heights for extended periods of time
- Technical knowledge of rope access systems and equipment
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures in high-risk environments
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Willingness to travel within Os or other locations as needed

Salary:
The salary for this contract position is $1100 per month. Accommodation will not be provided, but assistance can be provided in finding suitable living arrangements.
