Part-time Painter


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Part-time Painter to join our team in Clairvaux. As a painter, you will be responsible for painting interior and exterior surfaces of buildings, including walls, ceilings, and trim. You will also be required to prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, priming, and filling cracks or holes. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in painting and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, priming, and filling cracks or holes
- Apply paint or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
- Protect surrounding areas from paint splatter or damage
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired shades
- Ensure quality of work by inspecting finished surfaces for imperfections
- Clean up work area and properly store equipment after each job

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a painter
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of different painting techniques and tools
- Attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work within given deadlines
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and ability to lift heavy objects as needed
- Flexibility in working hours as this is a part-time position
