Junior Full-Stack Developer - Contract Position (Svalbard)



We are hiring a Junior Full-Stack Developer to join our dynamic team in Svalbard. This is a contract position and we are specifically looking for candidates without experience, who are willing to learn and grow with us.

As a Junior Full-Stack Developer, you will be responsible for assisting with the development, maintenance and enhancement of our web applications. You will work closely with our team of experienced developers to gain hands-on experience and improve your skills.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development, testing and deployment of new web applications
- Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Participate in code reviews and make necessary improvements
- Stay updated on industry developments and trends to suggest innovative ideas for improvement
- Learn new technologies and techniques through training sessions provided by the company

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Strong understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ReactJS
- Basic knowledge of back-end technologies such as Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1100$ per month for this contract position.

Location:
This job is located in Svalbard. Candidates must have their own visa to work in Svalbard.
