We are in need of an experienced Accountant to manage all financial transactions and ensure the accuracy of our company's financial records. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and be able to handle multiple tasks with efficiency and attention to detail. This is a contract position, with the possibility of extension based on performance.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow statements
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing, bill payment, and collections
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow to ensure proper funding for business operations
- Conduct month-end and year-end closing procedures in a timely manner
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Review and analyze financial data to identify trends or discrepancies
- Prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial data for decision-making purposes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent work experience)
- Minimum 2 years of experience working as an Accountant or in a similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Biometric passport preferred but not required
