Formwork Specialist


We are a construction company based in Mauren and we are seeking an experienced Formwork Specialist to join our team. As our Formwork Specialist, you will be responsible for creating, placing, and removing formwork for concrete structures according to blueprints and specifications. This is a contract job with a salary of 1300$ per month and does not include accommodation. This position is urgent and we are specifically looking for candidates who are Egyptian nationals or have experience working in Egypt.

Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints and specifications to determine formwork requirements
- Measure and cut materials such as wood, metal, or plastic to create formwork
- Assemble formwork using nails, screws, or bolts
- Place formwork in designated locations and secure it in place
- Pour concrete into the formwork according to specified levels
- Remove formwork once the concrete has set
- Clean and maintain all tools and equipment used for formwork
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols on the job site

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Formworker or similar role
- Knowledge of construction materials, techniques, and safety protocols
- Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications precisely
- Proficient in using tools such as saws, drills, hammers, etc.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification or training in carpentry or construction would be an asset
- Experience working with different types of formwork systems
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations
