Head Chef
The Head Chef is responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations at our high-end restaurant in the city of Lom. As a leader in the kitchen, the Head Chef will be responsible for creating and executing menus, managing inventory and food costs, and leading and training a team of chefs and kitchen staff.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of 5 years experience as a chef in a fine dining establishment, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. They must have exceptional culinary skills and be able to create innovative and high-quality dishes that will set our restaurant apart from others in the city. The Head Chef must also have strong management skills and be able to effectively communicate with their team to ensure smooth operations in the kitchen.
Responsibilities:
- Create and execute menus that align with our restaurant's concept and brand
- Manage inventory, food costs, and ordering to ensure profitability
- Train and lead a team of chefs and kitchen staff
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared to high standards of quality, presentation, and taste
- Monitor food safety standards and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen
- Collaborate with management on special events or promotions
- Continuously research new cooking techniques, ingredients, trends, etc. to remain competitive in the market
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a chef in a fine dining establishment
- At least 2 years experience as a head chef or sous chef
- Culinary degree or equivalent training preferred
- Exceptional culinary skills with ability to create unique dishes
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards
- Ability to adapt to changing menus or demands
Benefits:
