Experienced Turner in Alta, Norway


We are currently hiring an experienced Turner to join our team in Alta, Norway. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machine tools to produce precision metal parts. You must have a minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Turner and have strong technical skills in operating manual and CNC machines.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drill presses to produce precision metal parts
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings or specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished parts
- Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of finished parts
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure proper functioning
- Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot issues or improve processes

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Turner in a manufacturing environment
- Strong technical skills in operating manual and CNC machines
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings or specifications
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
- Good understanding of machine tools and their functions
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues independently
- Physical dexterity and ability to stand for long periods of time

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1700$ per month.

The position is located in Alta, Norway.
