Carpenter (Indian)

As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and other materials. Working in the city of Dickirch, you will use your knowledge of carpentry techniques and tools to complete projects efficiently and to a high standard.

Responsibilities:
- Study blueprints, sketches or building plans to determine materials and dimensions needed for each project
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using rulers, pencil or chalk
- Shape or cut materials to specified measurements using hand tools, machines or power saws
- Assemble and fasten materials to make frameworks or props using hand tools and wood screws
- Join materials with nails, screws, staples or adhesives
- Install structures such as windows, frames, floorings, trim or hardware on buildings
- Repair existing structures by replacing damaged parts or pieces of wood
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a carpenter is preferred but not required; training will be provided for candidates with no experience
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficient in using carpentry tools such as saws, hammers, drills etc.
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity to perform tasks that require strength and precision
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Good communication skills in English (other languages are a plus)
- Willingness to work full time with occasional overtime if needed
