Finisher

As a Finisher, you will be responsible for completing the final touches on various products. This role requires attention to detail and a strong understanding of the finishing process. You will work with a variety of materials, including wood, metal, and ceramics, to apply coatings, paints, and finishes to achieve desired results.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for finishing by sanding, cleaning, and repairing any imperfections
- Select appropriate coatings or finishes based on product specifications
- Apply coatings or finishes using various techniques such as spraying, brushing, or dipping
- Monitor drying times and make adjustments as needed
- Inspect finished products for quality and make any necessary touch-ups or repairs
- Maintain equipment and tools used in the finishing process
- Keep work area clean and organized at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Finisher or similar role
- Strong understanding of different types of coatings and finishes
- Ability to read and interpret product specifications and apply them correctly
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality control
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with wood, metal, or ceramics in a finishing capacity
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to handling chemicals used in the finishing process

Working Conditions:
This is a part-time position with flexible hours. The salary for this role is $1300 per month with accommodation provided. The job is located in Porto, Portugal.
