Factory Machine Operator (English Speaking) - Nairobi, Kenya



A factory in Nairobi is seeking a skilled and experienced Factory Machine Operator to join our team. As a Factory Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines within the factory to ensure production runs smoothly. This is a contract position with potential for permanent employment.

Responsibilities:
- Operate different types of factory machines according to set guidelines and procedures
- Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Conduct routine maintenance on machines to prevent breakdowns and delays in production
- Troubleshoot issues with machines and perform repairs as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear while operating machines

Requirements:
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal)
- At least 2 years of experience as a Factory Machine Operator or similar role
- Technical knowledge of different types of factory machines
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
- Good understanding of safety protocols in a factory setting
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects if needed
