Junior Merchandiser

As a Junior Merchandiser, you will be responsible for assisting with the buying and selling process of products for our company. Your main duties will include monitoring inventory levels, analyzing sales data, and researching market trends to help develop effective strategies for promoting and selling products. You will also assist with product development, pricing negotiations, and coordinating with suppliers and vendors. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for retail and strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for ordering new products
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and make recommendations for product promotions
- Research market trends to identify potential new products or opportunities
- Assist with product development by providing feedback on design, packaging, and pricing
- Negotiate pricing with suppliers and vendors to ensure competitive prices
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of products
- Prepare reports on sales performance, inventory levels, and market trends
- Communicate regularly with the buying team to provide updates on product availability
- Attend trade shows or industry events to gain knowledge about new products or market trends

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Previous experience in retail or merchandising is a plus but not required

Contract Details:
This is a contract position based in Herzliya. The salary for this role is $1500 per month. This position is open to candidates of all nationalities, but proficiency in English is required. Accommodation will not be provided, but we can assist in finding suitable housing options. A free visa and ticket will be provided for the duration of the contract.
