Office Assistant
Our growing company is in need of a highly motivated and organized Office Assistant to join our team in Salalah. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. This position offers a competitive salary of $1300 and is open to all nationalities, with preference given to Pakistani and Filipino applicants.
Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a timely manner
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- File documents and keep records organized
- Assist with scheduling appointments and meetings
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail
- Perform general clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, and data entry
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth office operations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in office administration is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Previous experience as an office assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not required
