Cashier - Retail Store (Indian Nationals)



Are you a customer service oriented individual with experience in handling cash transactions? We are seeking a reliable and efficient Cashier to join our retail team in Al-Rayyan, Qatar. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while efficiently handling sales transactions at the register.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and assist them with their purchases
• Accurately process payments and provide change to customers
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
• Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
• Ensure all products are properly scanned and priced
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking when needed
• Follow cash handling procedures and maintain accurate cash drawers
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth store operations

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Previous experience as a cashier in a retail setting is preferred
• Excellent customer service skills
• Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately
• Fluent in Hindi or any other Indian language is required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
