Head Chef (Pakistani Cuisine)


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in creating delicious and authentic Pakistani dishes. As a Head Chef, you will be responsible for managing the kitchen operations, creating menus, ordering supplies, and ensuring high-quality food is served to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Pakistani cuisine and be able to lead and motivate a team.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and develop menus featuring traditional Pakistani dishes with a modern twist
- Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety standards
- Ensure all food is prepared according to recipes and presented in an attractive manner
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain stock levels
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen at all times
- Collaborate with management to develop marketing strategies for promoting the restaurant's unique cuisine

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant environment
- Extensive knowledge of Pakistani cuisine and cooking techniques
- Ability to create new menu items while maintaining quality standards
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be physically fit as this position requires standing for long periods of time

Education/Experience:
A degree in Culinary Arts or relevant field is preferred, along with at least 5 years of experience in Pakistani cuisine. Previous experience working as a Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager is also desirable.

Salary: 1500$ per month
