Executive Chef
As an Executive Chef at our luxury hotel in Hawalli, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our culinary operations. Your main goal will be to provide exceptional dining experiences for our guests by creating innovative and delicious menus, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring high-quality food production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement creative menus that cater to a diverse clientele while maintaining high standards of quality
- Manage the kitchen team, including hiring, training, and scheduling employees
- Oversee food purchasing and inventory management to ensure cost-effectiveness
- Monitor food preparation and presentation to maintain consistency and excellence
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute special events or promotions
- Continuously strive to improve guest satisfaction through menu development, staff training, and service standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment
- Creative flair for menu development and food presentation
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Strong knowledge of best practices in food safety and sanitation
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills in English (additional language skills preferred)
- A degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field is preferred
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1200 per month, along with benefits such as accommodation, transportation, health insurance, and paid vacation.
