Preservation Architect


We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team in Washington. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures. Your main duties will include conducting site assessments, developing preservation plans, overseeing restoration projects, and ensuring compliance with preservation standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough site assessments to evaluate the historical significance of buildings and structures
- Develop preservation plans that outline the scope of work, budget, and timeline for restoration projects
- Oversee all aspects of restoration projects, including coordinating with contractors, obtaining necessary permits, and ensuring compliance with preservation standards and regulations
- Conduct research on historical building materials and techniques to inform restoration processes
- Collaborate with other professionals such as engineers, historians, and archaeologists to ensure accurate preservation methods
- Prepare detailed reports on the condition of buildings before and after restoration work
- Monitor project progress to ensure timely completion within budget

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Preservation Architect working on historical buildings or structures
- In-depth knowledge of preservation standards and regulations
- Strong understanding of historical building materials and techniques
- Excellent project management skills
- Ability to conduct thorough site assessments
- Strong communication skills

Salary: $1500 per month

Location: Washington

Preference: This position is open to candidates from any nationality. Accommodation will be provided if needed. Biometric passport is not required for this position. This is a full-time job.
