Carpenter for Construction Company in Jerusalem

We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our construction company based in Jerusalem. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing and maintaining various structures such as building frameworks, doors, windows and furniture. Your role will involve working with a variety of hand and power tools to accurately measure, cut and shape materials according to project plans. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in carpentry and a strong understanding of construction techniques and safety procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, or sketches to determine materials required and project specifications
- Measure, cut and shape wood, plastic or other materials using hand or power tools
- Install structures such as windows, doors, stairs, framing and hardware
- Repair existing structures by replacing damaged parts or repairing faulty components
- Follow building codes and safety regulations at all times
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects
- Maintain a clean work area and properly store all tools after use

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in carpentry within the construction industry
- Proficient in working with hand and power tools
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques and safety procedures
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good physical stamina for lifting heavy materials
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent

Salary: $1700 per month

Location: Jerusalem

Preference: African nationals who are English-speaking with valid visa sponsorship. Accommodation will not be provided.
