Sous Chef

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to create new dishes and menus that align with our restaurant's concept and meet the high standards of our customers
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to food safety regulations and maintain consistent quality in food preparation
- Oversee inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining kitchen equipment to ensure efficient operations
- Monitor food costs and control expenses while maintaining high-quality ingredients
- Assist in creating schedules for kitchen staff to ensure proper coverage during peak hours
- Foster a positive work environment by motivating team members, promoting teamwork, and resolving conflicts

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant environment
- Degree or certificate in Culinary Arts preferred
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, flavor profiles, and plating presentations
- Ability to lead a team effectively and delegate tasks efficiently
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
