Executive Chef
We are seeking an experienced and talented Executive Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant in Balzers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating innovative and delicious dishes, as well as the ability to lead and manage a team of kitchen staff. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
Responsibilities:
- Create new and unique menus based on seasonal ingredients
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, including cooking, plating, and presentation
- Train and manage kitchen staff to ensure quality and consistency in dishes
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to provide excellent service to customers
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisine styles
- Strong leadership abilities with proven experience managing a team
- Excellent communication skills in English (German proficiency is a plus)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
