Heavy Equipment Operator


We are in search of a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Kaunas. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy equipment, such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and backhoes. Your main duties will include inspecting equipment before use, operating controls to safely move materials and perform tasks, and maintaining the equipment in good working condition.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid heavy equipment operator license
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating heavy equipment
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and instructions
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Good hand-eye coordination and depth perception

Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment before use
- Operate heavy equipment according to job site requirements
- Safely move materials using the appropriate controls
- Follow all safety regulations and procedures at all times
- Maintain the equipment in good working condition by performing regular maintenance checks
- Report any malfunctions or damages immediately to the supervisor
- Keep accurate records of daily operations and maintenance performed
- Follow project plans and blueprints to complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently
- Communicate effectively with team members on job site
