Head Baker
As the Head Baker at our bakery in Bergen, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of high-quality baked goods. Your expertise and leadership will directly contribute to the success of our business.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and train a team of bakers and other kitchen staff
- Create and implement new recipes and menu items
- Ensure all baked goods are consistently made to high standards
- Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Adhere to health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with management to develop pricing strategies
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a baker or pastry chef
- Knowledge of various baking techniques and ingredients
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
- Excellent time management skills, able to meet production deadlines
- Attention to detail for consistently excellent results
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be physically fit, able to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
- High school diploma or equivalent, culinary school diploma preferred
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1800$ per month.
