Smelter Technician



We are seeking a skilled Smelter Technician to join our team in Bungoma, Nepal. As a Smelter Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining smelting equipment to extract metals from raw materials. This is a full-time job that does not require English proficiency or any prior experience in the field. We offer visa sponsorship for qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor smelting equipment, including furnaces, crushers, and mixers
- Load and unload raw materials into smelting machines
- Adjust controls to maintain appropriate temperature and pressure levels
- Monitor gauges, meters, and other indicators to ensure proper functioning of equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or malfunctions that may arise during the smelting process
- Maintain accurate records of production data, such as temperature readings and material usage
- Follow safety protocols and wear protective gear when working with hot materials
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of the smelting process

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in a related field preferred
- Prior experience in smelting or similar industrial work is a plus but not required
- Ability to work full-time hours and occasional overtime as needed
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn new processes and procedures
- Valid work visa or eligibility for visa sponsorship by our company
