A reputable retail company in Malindi is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Merchandiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maximizing sales and profitability by ensuring the right products are displayed in the right place at the right time.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with buyers to plan and implement product ranges
- Monitor stock levels and make recommendations for stock replenishment
- Create attractive product displays to maximize sales
- Analyze sales figures and trends to identify opportunities for growth
- Conduct regular store visits to ensure brand standards are met
- Negotiate with suppliers for favorable pricing and promotional deals
- Train store staff on product knowledge and merchandising techniques
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activity

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Merchandiser in a retail environment
- Strong understanding of consumer behavior and market trends
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Salary: $1400 per month, with potential for bonuses based on performance.

This position is suitable for male candidates who are passionate about retail and have a strong eye for visual merchandising. Candidates must already have their own valid work visa for Kenya.
