Seasonal Truck Driver in Alta, Canada

Our transportation company is seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver for a seasonal position in Alta, Canada. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating our trucks to transport goods and materials across various routes. This is a physically demanding role that requires long hours of driving and loading/unloading of cargo.

Responsibilities:
- Operate commercial trucks to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Plan and map out the most efficient route for each trip
- Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure they are in proper working condition
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
- Load and unload cargo from trucks using appropriate equipment
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery details
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers to provide updates on delivery status

Requirements:
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a truck driver
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good knowledge of road safety regulations
- Ability to work long hours, including weekends
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects
- Excellent communication skills
