Mason - Construction Worker



We are hiring a skilled Mason to join our construction team in Os, Norway. As a Mason, you will be responsible for building and repairing structures such as walls, floors, and patios using different materials like bricks, concrete blocks, and natural stone. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of 1100$ per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks or natural stone according to blueprints or plans
- Measure and cut materials to specific sizes using hand or power tools
- Mix and apply mortar or other adhesives to secure materials in place
- Use levels, rulers, and other measuring equipment to ensure proper alignment of structures
- Repair damaged structures by replacing broken or missing bricks or stones
- Clean surfaces of finished work using chisels, wire brushes or acid solutions
- Follow safety guidelines and regulations while working at heights and with heavy equipment

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mason in the construction industry
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions
- Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of different masonry techniques and materials such as bricks, concrete blocks, natural stone, etc.
- Basic understanding of math calculations for measurements
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
