Junior Electrical Engineer


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Bergen. As a Junior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in the design, development, and maintenance of electrical systems and components. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1500$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and development of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems
- Conduct calculations, simulations, and tests to ensure the effectiveness and safety of electrical designs
- Collaborate with senior engineers to prepare technical drawings and specifications
- Participate in site visits to gather data and troubleshoot issues with existing electrical systems
- Stay updated on industry developments and regulations to ensure compliance in designs
- Support project managers by providing technical input and contributing to project timelines

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks
- Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations (e.g. NEC)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred:
- Previous internship or work experience in electrical engineering
- Knowledge of sustainable energy solutions (e.g. solar power)
- Fluency in Norwegian (or willingness to learn)
