Pastry Chef
We are seeking a talented and creative Pastry Chef to join our team in Sheduva. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and visually appealing desserts, pastries, and baked goods for our restaurant. You will work closely with the head chef and kitchen staff to develop new menu items and ensure quality control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare a variety of desserts, pastries, and baked goods according to recipes
- Develop new menu items that are visually appealing and in line with our restaurant's concept
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of all pastry items
- Ensure all ingredients used are of high quality and stored properly
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Knowledge of various baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Creativity in developing new dessert ideas
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Formal culinary education preferred
Working Conditions:
This position requires working in a busy kitchen environment with long hours on your feet. The ability to work well under pressure is essential. The salary for this position is 1700$, with potential for growth based on performance.
We welcome candidates of all nationalities; however, applicants who have experience working in Indian cuisine are preferred. Additionally, fluency in English is not required but is considered an asset.
