Executive Chef - Egyptian Cuisine (Utena, Lithuania)

As the Executive Chef for our Egyptian restaurant in Utena, Lithuania, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation and delivery. Your passion for Egyptian cuisine, combined with your culinary expertise and leadership skills, will ensure that our restaurant consistently delivers exceptional dining experiences.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the menu for our Egyptian restaurant, ensuring a balance of traditional and innovative dishes
- Train and supervise kitchen staff in all areas of food preparation and safety
- Source and select high-quality ingredients from local suppliers
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen to meet health code standards
- Create new dishes based on seasonal ingredients or special requests
- Collaborate with restaurant management to plan special events or promotions
- Ensure timely delivery of food orders to guests
- Manage budget and control costs while maintaining quality standards

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef specializing in Egyptian cuisine
- Extensive knowledge of Egyptian culinary traditions, ingredients, and cooking techniques
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage kitchen staff
- Ability to create new menu items while maintaining authenticity of traditional dishes
- Excellent time management skills to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of food cost control methods and experience in managing budgets
- High level of creativity and attention to detail
- Fluent English communication skills
- Valid visa/work permit for Lithuania (visa sponsorship available for qualified candidates)
