Executive Chef


We are currently hiring an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Abu Dhabi. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, menu planning, and managing a team of chefs and kitchen staff. Your role will involve creating and implementing new menus, ensuring high quality and consistency in food preparation, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and oversee all aspects of food preparation and presentation
- Create new menus and dishes while also ensuring the quality of existing menu items
- Manage inventory, ordering, and budgeting for kitchen supplies
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, including sous chefs, line cooks, and other culinary personnel
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean kitchen environment
- Collaborate with restaurant managers to meet customer needs and resolve any issues in a timely manner
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate them into menu planning
- Monitor food costs to ensure profitability while maintaining high standards of quality

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively train and manage a team
- Extensive knowledge of various cuisine types and cooking techniques
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Familiarity with food safety regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent communication skills
- A degree or certification in culinary arts is preferred but not required
