Junior Data Mining Analyst


We are currently hiring for a Junior Data Mining Analyst to join our team in Lisbon. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with limited experience in data mining to gain valuable skills and experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

As a Junior Data Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to identify patterns and trends. You will work closely with our senior data analysts to assist in the development of data mining models and algorithms. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collecting and cleaning large datasets using SQL or other database management tools
- Analyzing data using statistical techniques and data mining methods
- Identifying patterns and trends within the data
- Assisting in the development of data mining models and algorithms
- Communicating findings and insights to team members and stakeholders
- Continuously improving data collection processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics or related field
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database management tools
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R
- Experience with statistical analysis and data mining techniques (e.g. regression, clustering)
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets
- Excellent communication skills
