Carpenter



We are a well-established construction company based in Lisbon seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for the construction, installation, and repair of wooden structures and fixtures in commercial and residential buildings.

Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and shape wood materials according to specifications
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, cabinets, and furniture
- Repair or replace damaged wooden structures
- Follow blueprints and building plans to meet client's requirements
- Operate power tools such as saws, drills, and sanders
- Ensure all work is done according to safety regulations
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- Proficient in using carpentry tools and equipment
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Good understanding of wood properties and other materials used in carpentry
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team setting
- Physical stamina for lifting heavy materials and standing for long periods of time

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Vocational training or apprenticeship in Carpentry (preferred)
- Valid driver's license (preferred)

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1200$ per month for this full-time position.

Location:
The job will be based in Lisbon but may require occasional travel within the city.

Accommodation:
This is not a live-in position. Therefore no accommodation will be provided by the company.

Visa Sponsorship:
We welcome applications from candidates with their own visa status. However, we are not able to provide visa sponsorship at this time.

Experience Required:
We require at least 2 years of experience as a Carpenter or similar role.

Freshers Welcome:
Freshers with relevant vocational training or education will also be considered for this role.
