Part-time Web Designer
Location: Alta, Norway


We are seeking a creative and talented Part-time Web Designer to join our team in Alta, Norway. As our web designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites for our clients. Your main duties will include designing website layouts, selecting colors and fonts, creating graphics and images, and ensuring that all designs are optimized for various devices. You will also work closely with our developers to ensure that the final product meets client requirements and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their design skills, as well as proficiency in HTML, CSS, and graphic design software. This is a part-time position with a salary of 1600$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their website needs and goals
- Create website layouts that align with client branding and industry standards
- Select appropriate colors, fonts, and graphics to enhance the overall design
- Optimize designs for desktop, mobile, and tablet devices
- Work closely with developers to ensure timely delivery of projects
- Maintain knowledge of current design trends and techniques
- Communicate effectively with clients to gather feedback and make necessary revisions

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a web designer or similar role
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous web design projects
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, graphic design software (e.g. Photoshop), and other relevant tools
- Knowledge of responsive design principles
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Attention to detail
