Office Manager
The office manager will be responsible for overseeing the administrative activities of our company in Funchal. This is a contract position with a salary of 1300$, and visa sponsorship is available for non-nationals. We are seeking a highly organized and efficient individual with previous experience in office management. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the office, including coordinating schedules, managing supplies, and handling correspondence
- Maintain and update company records and databases
- Assist with financial tasks such as invoicing, budgeting, and expense tracking
- Coordinate meetings and events, including scheduling, preparing materials, and arranging logistics
- Support HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Act as a liaison between management and staff to facilitate communication and resolve any issues or concerns
Requirements:
- Previous experience in office management or related field
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of bookkeeping principles preferred
- Familiarity with HR processes a plus
- Visa sponsorship available for non-nationals
