Head Chef - El-Ain
We are a high-end restaurant in El-Ain seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating and implementing menus, managing inventory and ordering supplies, and overseeing food preparation and presentation. The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for creating innovative dishes. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1700$ per month.
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement menus that reflect our restaurant's concept and vision
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Train, supervise, and schedule kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Oversee food preparation to maintain high quality and consistency
- Monitor food costs and make adjustments as needed to ensure profitability
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Collaborate with management to develop new menu items or special promotions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience in fine dining establishments
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavor profiles
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train others effectively
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Outstanding communication skills to effectively communicate with staff, management, and vendors
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed
- Pakistani or Kenyan nationality preferred but not required
