Typesetter

We are currently seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our publishing team in Kaunas. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images into a visually appealing layout for print or digital publications. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:
- Format text and images according to design specifications
- Ensure accuracy of spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Make necessary adjustments to layout for optimal readability
- Collaborate with editors, graphic designers, and other team members to ensure high-quality end product
- Use specialized software (e.g. Adobe InDesign) for typesetting and layout
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in typesetting technology

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a typesetter or in a similar role
- Proficient in using typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign
- Excellent command of English language, with strong attention to detail in spelling and grammar
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with various publication styles (e.g. books, magazines, newspapers)
- Biometric passport or ability to obtain one is required

Salary: $1500 per month
