Executive Chef


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a luxury hotel in Dickirch, known for its culinary excellence. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management. You will work closely with the management team to maintain high standards of quality and service while ensuring profitability. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in fine dining establishments and possess excellent leadership and communication skills. Competitive salary of 1400$ offered.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop creative menus that showcase seasonal ingredients and cater to different dietary preferences
- Oversee food purchasing, inventory management, and cost control to ensure profitability
- Train and lead kitchen staff in cooking techniques, sanitation standards, and safety procedures
- Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain high standards of taste and visual appeal
- Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute special events or themed dinners
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment while adhering to health codes

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, presentation standards, and kitchen management best practices
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a diverse team
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (French or German is a plus)
- Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
