Front-End Web Developer

Our growing digital media company is seeking a talented Front-End Web Developer to join our team in Utena, Kenya. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites, as well as experience in developing responsive and cross-browser compatible designs. This is a part-time position without accommodation, suitable for men who are fluent in English.

Responsibilities:
- Develop visually appealing and user-friendly website layouts using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Collaborate with designers to ensure website designs are implemented accurately
- Optimize website performance for speed and responsiveness
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and troubleshoot any issues
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in front-end development
- Work with back-end developers to integrate front-end components into web applications
- Test and debug code to ensure high-quality end products

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- At least 2 years of experience in front-end web development
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation
- Experience with responsive design techniques and mobile optimization
- Knowledge of SEO principles and implementation practices
- Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines
