Job Title: Indian Accountant for Biometric Passport Processing in Sharjah, UAE

We are hiring an experienced Indian Accountant to join our team in Sharjah to handle the financial aspects of our biometric passport processing services. This is a contract position for a duration of 6 months, with a possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and experience working with biometric passport processing systems.

Responsibilities:
- Review, verify and process financial transactions related to biometric passport processing
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management review
- Monitor and reconcile accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting for the biometric passport department
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations related to biometric passport processing
- Ensure timely payment of invoices and manage cash flow effectively

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from a recognized university
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Accountant, preferably in a similar role involving biometric passport processing services
- Proficient in using accounting software such as QuickBooks or Tally
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and experience in filing VAT returns
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with fluency in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

Salary: AED 1700 per month (tax-free), accommodation provided by the company.
Location: Sharjah, UAE (candidates residing in Sharjah or nearby areas will be given preference)
