Dietitian - Nutrition Consultant (Mombasa, Kenya)

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Dietitian to join our team as a Nutrition Consultant in Mombasa, Kenya. As a Nutrition Consultant, you will be responsible for assessing clients' nutritional needs, developing personalized meal plans, and providing nutrition education and counseling. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with clients from various backgrounds and cultures. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in nutrition or a related field, along with relevant professional certifications and at least 2 years of experience working as a Dietitian. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in other languages such as Canadian or Filipino would be an asset. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of 1700$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' nutritional needs based on medical history, dietary habits, and lifestyle factors
- Develop personalized meal plans that align with clients' health goals and dietary restrictions
- Provide nutrition education and counseling to individuals or groups on topics such as healthy eating habits, weight management, and chronic disease prevention
- Monitor clients' progress and make necessary adjustments to their meal plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for clients
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of nutrition

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in nutrition or related field
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g. Registered Dietitian)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Dietitian
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively educate and counsel clients from diverse backgrounds
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Canadian or Filipino languages is an asset
- Good understanding of different cultural dietary practices
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
