Gardener - Kaunas, Lithuania



As a Gardener in Kaunas, Lithuania, you will be responsible for maintaining and caring for the gardens and outdoor spaces of private residences and commercial properties. You will use your knowledge of plants and horticulture to ensure that the gardens are healthy, attractive, and well-maintained.

Your main duties will include planting and pruning trees, shrubs, and flowers; mowing lawns; fertilizing and watering plants; controlling weeds and pests; and maintaining garden equipment. You will also be responsible for designing new garden layouts and making suggestions for improvements to existing gardens.

To be successful in this role, you must have at least 2 years of experience working as a gardener or in a related field. You must also have a good understanding of different types of plants, their care requirements, and their seasonal cycles. A degree or certification in horticulture or landscaping is preferred.

As this job requires you to work on private residences, excellent communication skills are essential. You must be able to understand the specific needs and preferences of each client and communicate effectively with them. Fluency in English is also required as most clients will prefer an English-speaking gardener.
