We are seeking a skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Alta, Norway. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our company's network and computer systems. Your main duties will include installing, configuring, and updating hardware and software systems, troubleshooting network issues, and performing regular maintenance tasks.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of networking concepts, experience with system administration, and excellent problem-solving skills. A degree in computer science or a related field is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:
- Install and configure hardware and software systems
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues
- Ensure the security of our network and systems
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as updates, backups, and patches
- Collaborate with other team members to plan for future upgrades or changes
- Keep track of inventory for hardware and software

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Network or Systems Administrator
- Familiarity with networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
- Strong knowledge of operating systems such as Windows and Linux
- Ability to troubleshoot network issues effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies like VMware or Hyper-V is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred
